This one is for scarlychan!

Donghae ran his hand over the back of his head and gave a thumbs up to the camera in front of him before turning towards the crowd. Donghae was video calling you from his concert. You sat on your chair, feeling the energy that the audience provided. He then looked back into the camera and blew you a kiss.

“Goodbye! I’ll see you tonight!” he shouted over the crowd. You grinned and blew him a kiss back before closing your laptop. You got up and chose to surprise him when he got home by ordering his favorite foods.  You took the take out pamphlet and dialed the phone number printed on it.

When the man answered, you ordered. He gave you your total and asked for your information. You gave it and thanked him before hanging up.

You got up and put the paper back, walking over to your fridge and pulled some juice out. You sat down on the counter and sipped your juice box, trying to figure out what you could do next.

Figuring that there was nothing else that you could do, other than cleaning or sleeping, you went back to the couch and sipped your juice as you watched some TV, waiting for the food.

After an episode of the Simpsons, you heard a knock at the door. You ran over with your wallet and opened the door, greeting the delivery boy. You quickly paid him and grabbed the food.

It was when you set the food on the table that you realized that Donghae wasn’t going to be here until 1 AM. It was only 10:30PM. You mentally smacked yourself: the food was going to be cold by the time he got back.

Oh well.

You were half asleep on the couch watching some marathon on the food channel when you heard the door open. You looked at the clock on the DVD player and it read 1:07 AM. You closed your eyes and took in a deep breath before getting up. You saw your boyfriend taking off his shoes by the entrance. You walked over and hugged him, resting your head on his shoulder, yawning.

“How was the concert?” you asked sleepily. He chuckled.

“It was fun. I’m starving- do we still have ramen?”

You remembered the food, cold, sitting on the table. You took Donghae’s hand and walked over to your table. He smiled when he saw the white Styrofoam boxes.

“They’re cold, though, I ordered them too early and didn’t realize that you’d only be here now,” you said with a small smile. He turned towards you and pulled you close for a kiss.

“Thank you,” he said, grabbing the boxes. Donghae walked over to the kitchen and placed one of the four boxes in the microwave and heated it up. You grabbed some chopsticks and napkins and set them neatly on the table.

When everything was heated, you both sat down beside each other and chowed down. You thought you had ordered too much before- but now that you’re eating, you realized that you had gotten just enough.

Donghae was in the middle of talking to you about the performance at the concert when you noticed that he had some sauce on the corner of his lips. You learned in without a warning and licked it off. He looked at you with a shocked expression before finishing his talking.

Once he was done, he looked at you again.

“What was that for, by the way?”

“What was what for?” you asked innocently, looking up from your plate of noodles.

“You licking me” he said, grabbing some of your food. You grinned.

“Well, you had something on your face and I licked it off!”

Donghae just shook his head and continued his meal.
